Bank Reconciliation

Reconciling your bank statement every month allows us to keep your accounts up to date. It also enables us to detect any fraudulent or unauthorized bank transactions.  In addition we can identify any unjustified or excessive charges as soon as they occur so that they can be rectified in a timely manner. Monthly bank reconciliations also allow us to provide you with accurate financial statements that show you exactly how your business is doing economically.

Financial Statements

    Profit and Loss Statement - the  purpose of the profit and loss statement (or income statement) is to provide you 
    with your net profit by subtracting your expenses from your revenue.This enables you to determine the 
    operating performance of your business. You are able to identify which areas of your expenditures to modify so   
    as to maximize your profit margins.

    Balance Sheet - is a statement of the financial position of your company at any given time. You are able to see at 
    a glance your assets, liabilities and owners equity in the company.  It is basically a snapshot of a company's
    financial condition on a specific date. The balance sheet helps you to determine the capabilities of your company.

General Ledger Maintenance

The general ledger is the core for your financial records.  This includes, but is not limited to: 

  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Purchase, disposal and depreciation of assets.
  • Adjustments for stock fluctuation.
  • Payroll journals.

Regular maintenance of the general ledger is essential for keeping your financial records up to date. We can either make your general ledger entries for you, or review your accounts and correct any posting errors.

Quickbooks Set-Up and Training

Quickbooks is an efficient, user friendly way to enter all your financial data.  We are available to help set-up your new company, or to transfer an existing company, onto Quickbooks software.  Following that we are available to help train you on the aspects of the software you feel you wish to be responsible for and then on a regular basis we will review your records and perform the tasks listed above.
